This is what some views had to say:
- “Heroes for a Day really digs into the world of professional paintball and lets the viewer see through the eyes of these amazing players. We seem to struggle alongside them throughout the film and I think this is only because Patrick pulled it off.”
- “Amazing if you don’t already have it GET IT”
- “Watched it about 10 times and it’s still not old, best paintball movie I have ever seen very moving. Good Job Monkey With A Gun.”
- “I loved it. I’m big into film editing, so I was enthralled with the movie’s integration of music and video.”
- “Very artistic video – lots of great shots. Nice soundtrack too.”
- “It is probably the best Documentary I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen plenty. Maybe I’m biased towards the source material (paintball) but it was well put together and you can follow the emotional highs and lows of XSV. Having played on a team it was revealing to see the pros go through the same stuff as just your average Joe making a team, and watching them overcome the wall that is Dynasty, was great.”
- “It was the best movie I have ever seen by far and I have seen a ton of movies. It was great and he captured all of the emotions but more than that he captured what paintball truly is and what it is all about. I convinced my parents to watch it and I think they understand more now a lot of what I do.”
